NYAPRS is a statewide coalition of people who use and/or provide recovery-oriented community based services. We value difference and promote cultural competence in all aspects of our work. The Recovery Method is a system of cognitive/behavioral techniques to help manage and control nervous symptoms and fears. The Mental Health Foundation (formerly the Foundation of Advocacy for Mental Health) encourages, develops and supports educational campaigns and other initiatives to improve understanding of mental illness and ensure access to quality care.
