NYAPRS is a statewide coalition of people who use and/or provide recovery-oriented community based services. We value difference and promote cultural competence in all aspects of our work.

The Recovery Method is a system of cognitive/behavioral techniques to help manage and control nervous symptoms and fears. Recovery, Inc. has helped people struggling with: stress and tension—depression and fatigue—anger and fears—anxiety and panic—feelings of helplessness or hopelessness—sleep problems and worry—relationship problems and other emotional problems.

Restoration Society, Inc. Clubhouses are rehabilitation communities founded upon the recovery vision -- that all individuals who experience psychiatric disabilities can make a valuable contribution in the community and lead active lives filled with hope and satisfaction.
The Mental Health Foundation (formerly the Foundation of Advocacy for Mental Health) encourages, develops and supports educational campaigns and other initiatives to improve understanding of mental illness and ensure access to quality care. The Foundation is particularly concerned with efforts to reduce the stigma of mental illness and encouraging individuals to seek early diagnosis.
